Caterina Kennedy has worked in the field of education since 1990, as a teacher and administrator in the Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese. For the last 15 years she has served as a principal in two elementary schools, 10 years of which have been at her current school of St. Michael’s Elementary. She is a graduate of the University of British Columbia receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and a Bachelor of Education Degree. In 2003, she received a Master of Education Degree in Educational Leadership from SFU. She and her husband, Shane, live in Port Moody and are members of All Saint’s Parish. They have two children, one attending SFU and the other attending Archbishop Carney Regional Secondary. Caterina has served on a number of committees, which have focused on school improvement initiatives, along with a variety of community based councils.
