Shannon, her husband of 23 years, Mark, and their three children have been living in Burnaby for 20 years. Originally from Edmonton, Shannon has an Bachelor of Management degree from the University of Lethbridge (majoring in Marketing and Human Resources), CPA (CGA) and public practice license. Two of their children (Hanna and Spencer) are currently in French Immersion at Seaforth Elementary and Oliver (Grad of 2021) attends STMC. Her entire family is very active in sports, playing soccer, hockey, lacrosse and ball hockey. Believing that sports are lifelong, Mark and Shannon can be found pursing their own lifelong sports – cycling and soccer.
Shannon has spent 20 years in the life science sector, working with teams of people who invent or advance lifesaving technology or prescription drugs. She is currently one of the Directors at Lungpacer Medical, a Burnaby based company that was recently awarded a rare (only 8 have ever been granted worldwide) special access program by the US Federal Drug and Administration.
Their family are active parishioners at St. Michael’s Parish.
