SPRING BREAK

This Friday marks the start of Spring Break. Students and teachers will have two weeks off. Some will use the time for some rest and relaxation, and maybe some travelling, as they prepare for the final stretch of the school year. Others will use the time to get an early start to get ahead of the schedule. Either way, it’s safe to say that most people will appreciate some time off from the daily grind.

Classes resume on Monday, March 25.

BASKETBALL

The Senior Boys basketball provincial championship starts this week on Wednesday, March 6. All games take place at the Langley Events Centre. Go Knights Go!

Also, a huge job well done to the Grade 8 Boys and the Senior Girls basketball teams. Their season concludes as provincials came to a close this past weekend, with both teams bowing out in the semifinals. This places both teams in the top 4 of their respective grade levels in the entire province, a huge achievement in itself. Congrats on making it this far!

LENTEN CONFESSIONS

School-wide Lenten Confessions are scheduled to take place on Tuesday March 5th and Wednesday March 6th. Several priests from the New Westminster Deanery will offer this sacrament to our students:

Tuesday March 5th
Block D- Grade 11 Students
Block A – Grade 10 Students

Wednesday March 6th
Block H- Grade 12 Students
Block E- Grade 9 Students
(Grade 8 students will have their confessions during their religion blocks on these days).
