News of the STMC CanSat Team is beginning to pick up steam. In fact, it has reached the attention of some notable people, specifically Canada’s Minister of Science and Sport, the Honourable Kirsty Duncan! In a personal letter, she wrote that it is “great to see innovative young people putting their knowledge and curiosity on display” and that as a former scientist herself, she is “always pleased to see young people excited about and engaged in science.”
She continued her letter by congratulating our team of STMC Knights on “being the first Canadian representatives at the CanSat competition” in Bologna, Italy and included a handwritten note to the STMC CanSat Coach Mr. Joe Muise.
