The Commencement Ceremonies for the Grad Class of 2019 took place on the evening of June 26, 2019. It was a beautiful ceremony and a wonderful evening to honour the accomplishments of our young Knights. Over half of the graduates qualified for external scholarships exceeding $750,000. Our Knights are pursuing their post-secondary dreams across North America. They are an amazing group!
The STMC Community is also pleased to announce two firsts in STMC’s history.
2019 featured the inaugural offering of the Beedie Luminaries Scholarship. This award valued at $40,000.00 was won by Ethan Rajkumar (left). We congratulate Ethan on this fantastic accomplishment as he goes on to study Behavioural Neuroscience at UBC. For more information on this scholarship, visit the Beedie Luminaries website.
Also for the first time in school history we are pleased to announce that a Knight has won the highly prestigious Schulich Leadership Scholarship for a student pursuing a degree in a STEM related field (Science Technology, Engineering or Mathematics). Philip Stachura (right) of the STMC 2019 grad class is the winner of this distinguished award of $100,000 and will be studying Computer Science at SFU.
