A huge congratulations is in order for Fr. Gary Franken, Class of ’80! This morning it was announced that Fr. Franken has been appointed as the Bishop of Saint Paul, Alberta. Since 2016, he served as Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Vancouver.
Occasionally, Fr. Franken continued to make appearances as a guest celebrant for Masses here at STMC, very much to the delight of teachers who have taught him, old classmates that are now part of the faculty and staff, and of course the students.
Furthermore, Fr. Franken also holds an important position as a Trustee of the STMC Ltd. Board of Directors where he continues to oversee the growth of STMC.
