WALK-A-THON 2024

St. Thomas More Collegiate’s annual Walk-A-Thon has been a tradition for most of the school’s 64-year history.

The Walk-A-Thon is more than just a fundraising event; it celebrates our collective commitment to supporting our student-driven initiatives. With every student pounding the pavement, we’re promoting physical wellness and fostering a culture of philanthropy. Every student joins in, making the Walk-A-Thon an true representation of our school’s inclusive spirit.

Walk-A-Thon 2024 will support the purchase of Hudl Software (hudl.com) and other student-driven initiatives!

Thank you for supporting our students’ efforts to give back to their school and the community.

This year’s goal is $40,000. For more information or to help support, please visit: STMC Walkathon 2024

BRINGING LIFE TO OUR FAITH AND FAITH TO OUR LIFE

The first lecture of this faith-based 7 part series of lectures and discussions will be taking place this Wednesday, April 17. Mr. Darrell Hall will be leading the lecture/discussion titled “How Science Has Discovered God”.

In this presentation, he discusses scientific concepts and theories—from the origins of the universe to the origins of life—all the while displaying the fingerprints of an intelligent Creator. The goal is to engage the listener in Christian Apologetics, offering compelling scientific, philosophical, and theological arguments revealing the existence of a loving and purposeful Creator.

The topics covered will include why God is the best explanation for the big bang, the fine-tuning of the universe, the rational/mathematical intelligibility of the universe, and the existence of semantic information and DNA.

Admission is FREE, however, we kindly request registration for logistical purposes.

All lectures are on Wednesdays and begin at 6:30PM
