Dear families,
We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Meet the Teacher Night on Oct 17, 2024. This evening is a wonderful opportunity to connect with our staff, hear from an expert in child development, and engage in sessions with our teaching faculty that will give you insight into your child’s classes, co-curricular opportunities, and other facets of our STMC community.
Event Schedule:
- 5:00-5:45 pm – Social Reception
Meet faculty and other parents and enjoy refreshments before the program begins. - 5:45-6:45 pm – Keynote: Dr. Deborah MacNamara
Dr. MacNamara will deliver a special talk geared towards parents specifically focused on adolescent development. Find out more about Dr. MacNamara on her website: macnamara.ca - 6:55-7:15 pm – Session 1
- 7:20-7:40 pm – Session 2
- 7:45-8:05 pm – Session 3
Parents will have the option to attend three different sessions to learn more about various topics. These topics will range from meeting classroom teachers and learning more about what’s happening in those classes, learning more about various co-curricular programs, academic and personal counselling etc. (More information about these sessions will be sent closer to the date).
