Bernie Kully Memorial Bursary Fund

The Fund

The Bernie Kully Memorial Bursary Fund has been established at St. Thomas More Collegiate by family and friends of Coach Bernie Kully.

Your gift to this fund will help build the endowment that will support, in perpetuity, STMC students who do not have the financial means to participate in sports or other extracurricular activities at the school.

Every gift, regardless of amount, is important. The more funds raised for the Bernie Kully Memorial Bursary Fund, the more students in financial need will have the opportunity to reach their full potential and grow into well-rounded individuals in the true spirit of St. Thomas More Collegiate’s Edmund Rice Christian Brother Education.

Please consider giving to the Bernie Kully Memorial Bursary Fund and be a part of creating a lasting legacy in honour of a true Knight, Bernie Kully.

About Bernie Kully

Coach Bernie Kully was a true Knight who embodied the spirit of Blessed Edmund Rice in everything he did at St. Thomas More Collegiate as an alumnus, teacher, and coach. A man of faith, he always represented himself and the school driven by the principles of humility and hard work. Coach Kully understood what it meant to serve in a St. Thomas More Collegiate Christian Brother environment by modelling it day after day. He spent countless hours empowering his students and athletes to reach their full potential.

“Bernie Kully was the epitome of what culture at St. Thomas More is. A true leader in every aspect. Inspiring, selfless, and dedicated to the entire STMC community. He was a special person who would push you to be your best. He was one of the best men I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. The many lessons that he taught me I will carry with me for the rest of my life. I am forever grateful.”
