St. Thomas More Collegiate’s annual Walk-A-Thon has been a tradition for most of the school’s 64-year history.
The Walk-A-Thon is more than just a fundraising event; it celebrates our collective commitment to supporting our student-driven initiatives. With every student pounding the pavement, we’re promoting physical wellness and fostering a culture of philanthropy. Every student joins in, making the Walk-A-Thon an true representation of our school’s inclusive spirit.
Last year’s items include:
- new and fixed drinking fountains throughout the school
- partial funding of projectors for the gymnasium
- speaker system for our multipurpose room and fitness centre
This year’s requested items are:
- New & more soft seating for the cafeteria
- Outdoor permanent Pingpong, fooseball, and chess tables in the courtyard
