Jr. Chancellor Basketball Tournament

As our Sr. Chancellor Basketball Tournament wrapped up this past weekend, our Junior’s own Chancellor will begin on Thursday, January 15 and run until Saturday, January 17, 2026.

As always, the entire STMC community is invited to join and support our Knights! If you aren’t able to support from the stands, you still tune in to our live stream.

You Wear It Well… Just for Grads Charity

You Wear It Well… Just for Grads is a local charity supporting underprivileged students across Surrey, New Westminster, Delta, and Vancouver by providing formal clothing and accessories for graduation celebrations. Graduation is a meaningful milestone, but the cost of attire can be a barrier. To help ensure every student can attend feeling confident and included, we are accepting donations this week on behalf of the STMC ACTION team.

We are collecting:

  • Grad dresses (grad attire only, not cocktail dresses)

  • Grad suits

  • Formal shoes for all genders

Donations are being accepted at St. Thomas More Collegiate throughout this week during school hours.

STMC Faith Sharing Club

We personally invite all to join the STMC Faith Sharing Club on Tuesdays and Thursdays 6 pm over Zoom.

After School Academic Support

Want to excel in academics? Need extra help with school assignments? Doing well in your courses and wanting to help others succeed? If ‘Yes” to any of these then, After School Academic Support is the right place for you.

The After School Academic Support offers a wide range of support to students who need help in completing their homework assignments and preparing for any upcoming assessments. Our academically excelling Tutors support their peers and help them to be confident and do well in their academics. Also, Peer Tutors get their Service Hours for the hours that they have tutored. The program runs throughout the year on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 2:45 – 3:45 pm at the Learning Commons. You are free to attend any/all of the days depending on your own schedule.

If you are interested in Peer Tutoring or getting some academic support, then show up at 2:45 – 3:45 pm in the Learning Commons (sign-up can also be done any time of the year during session).

27th Annual Alumni Basketball Tournament

Register for our 27th Annual Alumni Basketball Tournament, running over the course of 2 days from Jan 30-31.

All skill levels are welcome!

FRIDAY NIGHT SOCIAL – Friday night is our Alumni social in the multipurpose room. Call your Alum crew and come connect while enjoying a wide range of basketball. Drinks and pizza will be available in the multi-purpose room.

SATURDAY FAMILY DAY – We will have a bouncy castle, refreshments, food, basketball hoops for kids, and more setup in the multipurpose room. Bring your kids and spouse to make this day a fun one for the entire family!
