First House Game

Our first house competition will be happening this coming Friday, Sept. 19th. Grade 8s will be introduced according to their houses and join the rest of the school in the first full school house competition of the year!

Limerick started strong last year, and carried that momentum through the entire year to win the House Cup. Dublin’s 8s started them off strong this year, will that continue this week?

Can London earn enough points to get out of their current negative point standing? Come out in your house shirts/colours next Friday to compete!

Club Fair

Club fair will be upcoming in the next few weeks. If you are planning to lead a club this year and/or you would like a spot at the club fair, please reach out to Mr. Jared Power and fill out the form below:

Guest Speaker: Cam Adair

Are you a video gamer? Or a parent of a video gamer? Has this hobby become more than a hobby and turned into an addiction? How do you know when the line has crossed between hobby and addiction?

On September 17, Cam Adair will speak to the grades 10-12 Career Life Education class and then later that day at the Parent Engagement evening. Cam Adair is the founder of Game Quitters, the world’s largest support community for video game addiction, serving members in 95 countries. He speaks regularly around the world at high schools, universities, parent education nights, and addiction conferences. Cam combines deep and meaningful personal insights with lessons on addiction recovery, leadership, social entrepreneurship, and psychology.

The STMC 3 Pillar Advisory Committee (3PAC) is looking for a few more parents to join our multi-stakeholder group consisting of staff, students, parents and alumni. If you are interested or want more information, please contact Mr. Ben Johnston ().

Extra-Curricular Science

With the start of the school year, extra-curricular science activities are starting up. Any students interested in taking part should join the Google Classroom dedicated for this (code: xtyotzj).

After School Academic Support

Want to excel in academics? Need extra help with school assignments? Doing well in your courses and wanting to help others succeed? If ‘Yes” to any of these then, After School Academic Support is the right place for you.

The After School Academic Support offers a wide range of support to students who need help in completing their homework assignments and preparing for any upcoming assessments.
