RCMP are strictly enforcing the no stopping signs which are clearly posted at both ends of the cul-de-sac on 12th Avenue.
Because there are clearly posted no stopping signs in the cul-de-sac Burnaby City bylaw states that it is illegal to stop for any reason at either end of the cul-de-sac.
Parents/Guardians may be ticketed by Burnaby Bylaw enforcement or by Burnaby RCMP if they park or stop on the Kingsway/12th Ave side or the Mary Ave/12th Ave side of the cul-de-sac.
For Your Action:
Parents/Guardians, please drop students off
• on 12th Avenue, Southwest of Kingsway, near Langley Farm Market, or
• on 12th Avenue, Northeast of Mary Avenue, near 12th Avenue School.
