‘Plant a Row-Grow a Row’ Drive-Through

Everyone is welcome to come to our spring ‘Plant a Row-Grow a Row’ Drive-through event on Sunday, April 26, 2026, 10am to 1 pm, at St. Thomas More Collegiate in the school parking lot. Simply drive into the school parking lot, keep to the right, then pull up to the curbside next to the gym, as directed by our volunteers. You won’t want to miss this fun filled, spring event!
Our volunteers will be giving out vegetable transplants and seeds to grow in your own garden plus gardening items and containers. Bags of high-quality garden vegetable soil is $20, and so many more great items! These garden gifts are generously donated by Brian Minter, the Compost Council of Canada, GardenWorks, Premium Soils, Claude, volunteers, and local horticultural suppliers. Please keep in mind that this event is first come first served.
We also gratefully accept cash donations, and donations of non-perishable food items for Dan’s Legacy/Dan’s Diner and Ryan’s Rainbow Emergency Food Outreach.
‘Plant a Row-Grow a Row’ collection of fresh and non-perishable food donations is every Sunday, starting June 7th- October 4th, 8:30- 9:15 am, at the front entrance of STMC. Please be sure to give us your email so we can send you details closer to the date. Also, there are volunteer opportunities to help support our program.
